Dr. Jeffrey P. Davis
Dr. Jeffrey P. Davis discovered his calling while still a teenager. Inspired by the transformative power of dentistry, he knew early on that creating a supportive, engaging environment for pediatric patients was his passion. That passion led him to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the MCV College of Dentistry, followed by advanced pediatric training and certification at the DC Children's National Medical Center.
Today, Dr. Davis is proud to lead an independently owned pediatric practice in McLean, VA. His hands-on approach means patients and their families can count on consistency and familiarity in care—a rare and invaluable feature in a world filled with the rise of corporate-run dental chains. As the sole practitioner, your child will actually know their dentist. Dr. Davis builds deep, trusting relationships with each family, offering continuity, personalized attention, and peace of mind.
Dr. Davis is a proud member of the American Dental Association (ADA), Virginia Dental Association (VDA), American Academy of Pediatric Dentists (AAPD), Northern Virginia Dental Society (NVDS), and the Southeastern Society for Pediatric Dentists. He has been recognized as a Washingtonian Magazine Top Dentist every year since 2004, and is also regularly named a Top Dentist by Northern Virginia Magazine and Arlington Magazine. Dr. Davis previously served as a volunteer for the Fairfax NOVA craniofacial team, helping children with complex dental and facial needs.
Known for his calm demeanor and incredible communication skills, Dr. Davis specializes in making dental visits a positive experience—even for the most anxious patients or those with special needs. His kid-friendly office, complete with TVs, movies, and friendly animal buddies, helps children relax and enjoy their time at the dentist.
Outside of the office, Dr. Davis is a triathlon competitor and avid traveler who cherishes time spent with his family in Washington, D.C. His values—family, wellness, dedication, and kindness—extend into every facet of his work, making his practice a trusted dental home for families throughout McLean, Vienna, Falls Church, Arlington, and Reston.

Before Your Visit
The American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), American Dental Association (ADA), and American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry (AAPD) all recommend establishing a dental home early. A dental home helps ensure regular preventive care—and keeps dental emergencies out of the ER.
Before the visit, let your child know they’ll be meeting a dentist who helps keep their teeth healthy. Keep it simple and upbeat. Try to avoid words like “shot,” “pull,” or “drill”—our team uses kid-friendly terms to explain everything in a calm, reassuring way.
Parents are welcome to stay with their child during the first visit. For future appointments, many kids do better when they come back on their own—but you’ll always have the choice to join.

What to Expect
Expect a warm welcome in a vibrant office packed with the comforts kids love—like animal décor, ceiling TVs, and kid-friendly movies.
During the visit, Dr. Davis performs a gentle exam and cleaning (as appropriate) and discusses any concerns or treatment needs. Our approach is always informative—but never overwhelming—and designed to help both kids and parents feel confident about ongoing care.

From friendly animal characters to leafy murals and bright pops of color, our themed environment puts young patients at ease. The fun, engaging setting allows children to build positive associations with visiting the dentist.
Ceiling-Mounted TVs & Movies
Our treatment rooms are equipped with TVs above every chair, letting children watch their favorite shows or movies during treatment. This proven distraction technique helps reduce anxiety and create a more relaxing experience.

Safe, Effective Sedation Options
For especially nervous or sensitive children, we offer both nitrous oxide (“laughing gas”) and oral sedation. These tools help kids with sensory challenges, special needs, or dental anxiety receive necessary care in a safe, calm environment.

Although Jeffrey P. Davis, DDS, PC does not currently have formal outreach programs, Dr. Davis is passionate about giving back to the local communities of McLean, Vienna, and surrounding areas.
Dr. Davis has a long-standing commitment to community involvement. He has volunteered with the Fairfax NOVA craniofacial team, given educational talks for Dental Awareness Month, and sponsored several local high school sports teams including crew, baseball, and swim. He also proudly supports kids' triathlons and school 5K runs throughout the area.
